Dara is making her return to the theatre after a 16 year hiatus to raise her two children.  She was first bitten by the acting bug at Harrison Trimble High School under the tutelage of Mike Granville himself.  She then studied French and Theatre Arts at Laurentian University performing in such productions as "Suddenly, Last Summer", "The Komagata Maru Incident" and "Cécile". After becoming a teacher in Newfoundland, she continued her love affair with the theatre both in an out of the classroom, directing school productions, teaching Theatre Arts, organizing a regional theatre festival and performing in community theatre, starring in "Sorry, Wrong Number" and "Hobson's Choice". She moved back to Moncton after the birth of her first child to focus on her family and teaching career. She is delighted to have come full circle and to be returning to acting and to work with her first theatre mentor, Mike Granville.
